WITF, the Dauphin County-based radio and television station set to take over LNP|LancasterOnline later this month, has announced it will celebrate “pride all month long.”
In a May 31 post, Christina Zeiders, Communication Specialist at WITF, said that “WITF is celebrating Pride all month” with various television programs promoting homosexuality and transgenderism.
The page lists over 25 programs, including “Growing Up Trans,” “Prideland,” and “Gay & Lesbian Latinos Unidos.”
One show “highlights how a community of cross-dressing men found refuge at a modest house in the Catskills region of New York in the 1950s and 60s.”
Another program, “Mama Bears,” is a documentary about women who abandoned the Christian faith in order to promote homosexuality and transgenderism.
“Conservative, Christian beliefs have defined their lives,” the PBS page for Mama Bears says. “Now they’re championing their LGBTQ+ children.”
The WITF page also contained a link to browse the full “Pride month collection from PBS,” which includes programs such as “Growing Up Trans” and “The Homophobic Origins of U.S. Law.”
In April, Steinman Communications Inc. announced it will be gifting LNP Media Group and the LancasterOnline news site to WITF in June.
