Who Is Responsible for Political Violence?

Democrats keep trying to blame all political violence on Republicans because of the January 6 riot at the Capitol. This is inaccurate. Take away January 6, and nearly all political violence in America is instigated by Democrats.

There were over 30,000 Republicans in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021. Only about 400 people violently stormed the Capitol. Another 400 or so went in because the people in from of them went in. The police let many in. These people did no damage and acted more like tourists. The people who engaged in violence are not your typical Republicans and they should all do jail time – and are. Four hundred rioters hardly constitute an insurrection, and not all the rioters were Republicans.

Following the Capitol riot, the Department of Justice seized $90,000 from left wing insurrectionist John Earle Sullivan, who stormed the Capitol on January 6, and repeatedly yelled at participants to burn down the Capitol building.

Sullivan, speaking at a Black Lives Matter rally, had this to say: “You know what time it is? Repeat after me. It’s time for revolution. It’s time for revolution. It’s time for revolution. Thank you guys, I appreciate you all. Be safe. Be blessed.”

If it had been BLM or Antifa rioting in the Capitol, the day would have ended a lot worse. The media claims Sullivan is a Trumper. This is not true. Sullivan is a hard-core revolutionary.

Preaching violence has been a specialty of the Democrats for several decades. In 1992, the “Reverend” Al Sharpton delivered a speech at Kean College in which he said, “I believe in offing the pigs. Well they got pigs out here. You ain’t offed one of them. What I believe in I do. Do what you believe in – or shut up and admit you lost your courage and your guts to stand up. I ain’t having no march. Well fight this. Ain’t nobody holding you.  I’ll off the man. Well off him. Plenty of crackers walking right around here tonight.”

When Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017, the radical left was there destroying property. A car was firebombed while demonstrators shouted “Whose streets? Our streets.” A newsman then interviewed a young boy who said he started a fire “because I felt like it and because I’m just saying screw our president.”

Members of the Satanic Temple were demonstrating against Trump because “he’s gonna take most of our rights away.”

And on and on the insanity went.

During the time Trump was president, the Democrats repeatedly encouraged unrest in the streets. Radical Congresswoman Maxine Waters and others openly called for President Trump’s assassination.

In October 2017 in New York City, Waters declared: “I am sitting here, listening, watching, absorbing, thinking about Ali even though I never met him, and with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take Trump out tonight.” The crowd of liberals cheered wildly.

Isn’t this inciting violence? Well, she is a Democrat and therefore above the law.

In December 2020, Michigan Democrat Rep. Cynthia Johnson threatened Trump supporters. “So this is just a warning to you Trumpers. Be careful, walk lightly, we ain’t playing with you…And for those of you who are soldiers, you know how to do it. Do it right. Be in order. Make them pay.”

In August of 2020, Chicago Black Lives Matter organizer Ariel Atkins encouraged looting as a form of reparations. “I don’t care if somebody decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike because that makes sure that that person eats. That makes sure that that person has clothes…That’s reparations,” Atkins said.

And Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer once said, “I want to tell you Gorsuch, I want to tell you Kavanaugh: you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

So, I ask, who is responsible for the vast majority of political violence in America?

    Right wing extremists are clearly reasonable for the majority of violence. How do you just throw out what happened on January 6th? It is also why some of us are very confused and frightened. Especially in the overlap of trump supporters we can tell an extremist from say a more baseline subject. There is nothing to set you apart from the worst of your kind.
