James White and Jared Longshore have been going back-and-forth concerning the new covenant and its members. At this point the informal “debate” consists of at least three articles from Longshore and several podcast episodes from White (linked below). In this episode of The Lancaster Patriot Podcast, Chris Hume interacts with Longshore’s position (mainly from his article published on Dec. 12, 2023) and provides an overview of the position of the new covenant wherein, in the words of John Owen, the new covenant “does effectually communicate all the grace and mercy contained in it to all and everyone with whom it is made; with whomsoever it is made, his sins are pardoned.”
