For the past month, The Lancaster Patriot has been covering the ongoing battle between local farmer Amos Miller and the federal government. The federal government believes Miller’s customers do not have the ability to make their own food choices. Miller and his customers believe they should be free to purchase his products without government regulation or interference. At the heart of this story is the contrast between a limited government and an overreaching bureaucracy, assuming the right to tell people what food is “good for them.”
