Monday, May 22nd – The Lancaster Area Chapter of John Birch Society will be hosting their monthly meeting at Loxley’s Restaurant at 6:00 PM (dinner optional). This meeting will show Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin promising to work together to build a new world order as an alternative to the West. This video will explore this and offer you a glimpse into where this is heading and what we can do about it. We will also show an interview with Johanna Martin on the very dangerous second method for amending the US Constitution addressed in Article V — a Constitutional Convention. Saturday, May 27, 2023 – Bird-In-Hand Fire Company will be hosting their Chicken BBQ Fundraiser from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM. Cooked slowly and deliciously seasoned, this chicken is moist and tender. Our famous BBQ Chicken has a taste of its own! All proceeds benefit the Hand-in-Hand Fire Company, an All Volunteer Fire Company located in Bird-in-Hand, PA and serving the East Lampeter Township community. All-You-Can-Eat Menu: BBQ chicken w/ Meadowcreek seasoning (halves, legs & thighs), baked potatoes, coleslaw, potato salad, chips, pickles, rolls & apple butter, beverages, cake & ice cream). Thursday, June 8, 2023 – The Lancaster Lemonade Concert Series will be holding concerts at Highland Presbyterian Church, Lancaster, PA. Our 50th Anniversary season begins June 8 and runs every Thursday night (except during the week of July 4th) until August 3rd. Free-will offering taken at intermission. Concerts begin at 7 pm.
