The Mid-Atlantic Reformation Society (MARS) Board of Directors has appointed a new chairman, according to a press release from the Pennsylvania-based Christian organization.
Luke Saint, resident of Berks County and author of The Sound Doctrine of Theocracy, will serve as Chairman of the Board.
Saint will seek to further the group’s mission of holding “Christian conferences wherein God is glorified, the name of Christ exalted, friendships and relationships are created and strengthened, the saints are equipped, whereupon His Word is meditated and taught, the Gospel of the Kingdom is furthered, and the kingdom of Satan is challenged.”
In June 2022, MARS garnered media attention for hosting a Worldview Meeting in Lancaster County focused on the history of Pennsylvania and the foundational worldview beliefs that established the commonwealth. The event was originally scheduled to occur in Lititz, but was moved to Quarryville following backlash against owners of the Lititz venue.
The group has also hosted several “Future of Christendom” conferences, including one held last year in Ephrata. Speakers at that 2022 conference included Joel Saint, Luke Saint, Matt Trewhella, and Allen Cohen.
Luke Saint is the son of Joel Saint, pastor of Independence Reformed Bible Church and the executive director of MARS.
