A school district in eastern Pennsylvania approved the request from The Satanic Temple for the use of a room in the school for an after hours Satan Club. What followed was, in the words of the district’s superintendent, “chaos.” Following an avalanche of parental complaints and a school shooting threat, the district rescinded their previous approval. Legal action followed, and a federal judge recently ruled that the school must in fact allow the group to use the school’s facilities. On this episode of The Lancaster Patriot Podcast, Joel Saint joins Chris Hume to discuss this story and the chaos that follows when Christ is rejected as Lord.

Are the schools allowing Christian Clubs, Jesus Clubs, etc to meet in the public schools?
G R Peck, yes. And this is addressed in the podcast. If the First Amendment is lord over Christ, then it follows that Christianity and paganism (e.g., Satanism) are equal and both should be allowed, if any are allowed. In fact, as addressed in the podcast, the precedents used to affirm the “right” of the Satanists to use the facilities are precedents of Christian groups filing lawsuits requiring the government schools to allow them to use their facilities. Instead of working to destroy government education, we have submitted to its claim of lordship over Christ. I addressed this folly of Christians using “religious freedom” arguments in a talk about abortion: https://youtu.be/dbkBUspu5E8. Religious “freedom” and “First Amendment” arguments are bound to backfire and are built upon a rotten foundation.
