A Canadian pastor was arrested yesterday because he protested at a children’s drag queen story time at a public library, LifeSiteNews reports.
Derek Reimer, who leads a Calgary-based ministry called Mission 7 Ministries, had protested a drag event at a public library last week. Video footage shared on Tucker Carlson Tonight shows Reimer being forcefully thrown to the ground by people attending the drag event at the public library.
According to LifeSiteNews, Reimer said that his mission is to speak the truth as handed down by Jesus in the Gospels, and that is why he and others were protesting at the drag queen story hour.
Police came to Reimer’s home Wednesday and announced that he would be charged with mischief and causing a disturbance at the children’s drag queen story time event.
Yesterday, police returned and arrested Reimer.
A video shared online by Rebel News shows Reimer being put into the back of a police vehicle by two female officers. The Rebel News video shows Reimer sitting in the back seat of the police vehicle, looking out a window with bars. His comments are cut off as the police officer rolls up the window, but he can be heard saying, “This is what happens when you go against drag…”
Three weeks ago, the Calgary Herald reported that Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek said the city was planning to use its street harassment bylaw to deal with those who spread “hateful” messages outside drag events.
“Canada has now become an atheist totalitarian state,” Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson said. “Where are all the professional Christians? You have to wonder that again. Where’s David French and Beth Moore and Tim Keller and all these people who are defending Christianity, as actual Christians are being arrested for being Christian? Not a word.”

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”
2 Timothy 3:12 NKJV
I guess that part of the Bible that says “obey the laws of the land” doesn’t matter to “Christians”
The ones being persecuted aren’t the Christians, they’re the ones spreading hate and intolerance according to what they think the Bible says.
Anyone that can tell me where it says “no man shall wear women’s cloths” in the Bible?
Nope
Or where it says that being gay is an abomination? It doesn’t
It says love thy neighbor though,
Practice what you preach preacher.
Here you go, Daniel:
A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God. – Deut. 22:5
and,
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. – Lev. 18:22 (from that very book of the Bible that tells us to love our neighbor)
Rise up Christians wake up, we need to make a stand and defend those who are wrongfully persecuted.
These “drag queens” are nothing more than Sodomites that are grooming our children to enlist them into their godless
perversion and you parents both Christian and others must stand and fight to protect them or you will forever regret it.
Why do the Police participate in enforcement of such anti Christian, anti-family actions against the majority population?
The police should REFUSE to be tools of the unmasked, obviously evil left and in this case defused the situation by asking him to leave IF his presence there was breaking any law.
BUT, the police departments are actively screening their recruitment ranks for just those people who are ideologically on the left side of the spectrum.
